The
sinica
species-group
Atrovirensis sinica
and next five species (
A. owadai
,
A. taiwani
,
A. furcatus
,
A.
sp.
cf.
furcatus
and
A. sacculatus
) represent the
sinica
species group. The taxa of this group have rather massive uncus, shorter than in
atrovirens
- group, more rounded and much smaller cucullus, much larger gap between cucullus and saccular lobe of valva, more elongate harpe, much longer medial diverticulum, and the apically double-lobed large cornutus. The female genitalia of the
sinica
species group could be characterised by relatively small sclerotised ovipositor with slightly lyriform and apically constricted papillae anales, small, shallow antrum, short ductus bursae and elongate corpus bursae.
