Holotype
description.
Length
5.7 mm
. Frons, vertex, and abdomen copper-bronze, pronotum with violet reflections, elytra green.
Head
with frons smooth, with thin white pubescence at the base. Clypeus with transverse carina. Antennae serrate from fifth article.
Pronotum
widest at middle, with posterior angles obtuse. Sculpture composed of transverse striae. Premarginal carinula entire. Marginal carinae separate at base. Anterior margin of mentonniere rounded and entire. Prosternal plate parallel.
Scutellum
transversely carinate.
Elytra
apparently glabrous, but with indistinct white setae evenly dispersed. Apex strongly toothed (fig. 2a).
Abdomen
with small white spots of pubescence at the sides of ventrites 2, 3 and 4, the last barely visible.
Legs
bronze, with all claws simply toothed. Metatarsus long as the metatibia; basal metatarsomere as long as the sum of the following three (1=2+3+4).
Aedeagus
slender, median lobe with acute apex (fig. 2c).
Etymology.
This species is named for the

locality.
Comments.
Based on the form of the elytral apex,

yanzatzanus
will be placed in the group 0 2 (
Curletti & Brûlé, 2011
). In this group only
A
.
yanzatzanus
has the pronotum copper-bronze with violet reflections and elytra green.
