Distribution. Pacific Ocean: Philippines ( 163-182 m ), Solomon Islands ( 197–623 m ), New Caledonia ( 220– 344 m ) and Vanuatu ( 358 m ). Remarks. New illustrations for this variable species are provided. Specimen (BL 7.0 mm, Figures 12 , 13 ) from the Philippines (MNHN-IM-2013-67055) is very similar to the type material of L. samadiae but differs in having four to six micraesthetes in some granules (vs four in the type specimens). The studied specimen possesses a radula that is 2.5 mm long with 38 transverse rows of mature teeth.
