( Pschorn-Walcher and Altenhofer 2000 ), P. x canadensis Moench, P. deltoides W. Bartram ex Marshall ( Arru 1967 ), and P. nigra L. ( Buhr 1941 ). Has sometimes been stated to cause significant damage to planted poplars (e.g. Arru 1967 , Calmasur and Oezbek 2004 ). Distribution. Through much of Europe, including the British mainland, but not recorded in the Iberian Peninsula ( Taeger et al. 2006 ); Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, West and East Siberia, Russian Far East ( Sundukov 2017 ).
