Material examined. One male and one female from a small trickle on Daegwanryeong Hill, Gangreung (37°41′27″N, 128°45′38″E) (locality 1 on Fig. 1 ), 3 October 2010 . Remarks. Another species of the genus, Scottia birigida Smith et al ., 2002 is found in Japan , and the two species can be discriminated by the morphology of the male sexual organ plus other minor features ( see Smith et al. 2002 ). Scottia pseudobrowniana prefers habitats fed by groundwater runoff with a leaf litter substrate, and is found in Europe, Russia , and the United States ( see review in Kempf 1971 ; Külköylüoġlu & Vinyard 2000 ).
