Description. Male.
Body large and stout. Fastigium verticis wider than scape. Face with transverse riffles and scattered impressed dots (
Fig. 2A
). Ocelli distinct.
Anterior margin of pronotum projecting in middle, posterior margin widely arched (
Fig. 2B
); lateral lobes longer than high with a V-shaped furrow (
Fig. 2C–D
). Fore coxae with 1 spine. Fore and middle femora unarmed on ventral surfaces; left hind femur with 8 internal and 7 external spines on ventral surface, while the right one with 10 pairs of spines. Fore and middle tibiae with 5 pairs of ventral spurs, including 1 pair of apical ones, middle tibiae with 1 internal spine on dorsal surface; hind tibiae with 6 pairs of spines on dorsal surface, apices with 1 pair of dorsal spurs, 1 pair of subapical ventral spurs and 2 pairs of ventral spurs. Wings slightly surpassing the apex of abdomen. Venation of tegmen simple (

), all the veins free from base, with 5 anal veins. Third abdominal tergite with 3 remnant stridulatory pegs (
Fig. 2E
). Eighth abdominal tergite slightly prolonged and directing downward (
Fig. 2F
). Ninth abdominal tergite furrowed along the midline, in apical area with an oval swelling on both sides of midline prolonged at ventro-medial angle into a spine which crossed and pointing ventrad and inwards, apices acute (
Fig. 2G
). Cerci long and incurved. Subgenital plate wider than long, the lateral margins convex, converging; posterior margin oblique on both sides and with a distinct, triangular concavity in middle (
Fig. 2H
); styli inserted at middle areas of lateral margins of subgenital plate (
Fig. 2H
).
Female (last instar nymph).
The lateral margins of basal half in seventh abdominal sternite rounded, converging to apex after middle area; ventral surface in more than apical half convex with a large medial groove with smooth shining surface and provided before hind margin, lateral margins of groove gradually raised into a styliform process on each side (
Fig. 4C
). Subgenital plate very short and wide, base covered by seventh sternite; posterior margin with an obtusely triangular concavity in middle, the lateral lobes obtuse (
Fig. 4C
).
Coloration.
Body yellow brown. Face red brown. Labrum, fastigium verticis between antennal cavities, margins of antennal cavities and antennae black. Ocelli yellowish. Eyes black. Dorsal surface of head with black patterns (

). Margins of pronotum black, disc with irregularly black spots and stripes (
Figs. 2B
,
3A
). Tegmina orange brown, at tip semi-transparent white. Internal and external surfaces of all femora black, all tibiae and tarsi black. Abdomen red brown.
