Type
species:
Mictopsichia durranti

.
Chamaepsichia
was proposed for one described and one undescribed species:
C. durranti
(Walsingham, 1914)
and
R. rubrochroa
Razowski 2009
; one new species is described herein bringing the total to three. The genus is known from
Costa Rica
,
Bolivia
, and
Brazil
. Adults are virtually indistinguishable from those of
Rubropsichia
in facies, but the male genitalia are highly divergent, with a rodlike uncus and the complete atrophy of the socii. Nothing is known of the biology.
