China : Yunnan , South Yunnan (Xishuangbanna), 37 km NW Jinghong , Guo Ma Shan (NNNR), elev. 1080 m ( 22°17.91'N , 100°38.85'E ), 26.v.2008 , leg. A. Weigel— 1 female (Erfurt NKME ) . Additional Description. Medium sized species. Head: Face oval; forehead nearly smooth with fine riffles on lower part of frons and on clypeus; fastigium verticis wider than scapus; ocelli indistinct. Abdominal tergites two and three with stridulatory pegs. Wings distinctly surpassing abdomen ( Fig. 53E ). Tegmen: Radius with two branches, both forked near tip; media anterior free, in subbasal area closely approached to radius; cubitus anterior at base with a single branch that forks into two veins, the anterior branch makes a curvature where it receives a connecting branch from MA and shortly after divides again into two parallel branches, MP and CuA1; cubitus posterior undivided, free throughout; with 4 anal veins, last two with common stem. Legs: Fore coxa with a spine at fore margin; fore and mid femora unarmed; fore and mid tibiae with four pairs of large ventral spines and one pair of smaller ventral spurs; hind femur with 6 external and 5–6 internal spines on ventral margins; hind tibia with spaced spines on both dorsal margins, ventral margins with one pre-apical spine; with 3 apical spurs on both sides. Coloration. General color greyish to yellowish brown with dark marks; vertex and pronotum as described by Du et al . (2016). Face uniformly light with a medium brown band below compound eyes and two weak spots on upper part of fastigium verticis; eyes black. Tegmen semi-transparent white with medium to dark brown veins and veinlets; hind wing semi-transparent white with medium to dark brown veins and veinlets. Female. Seventh abdominal sternite slightly furrowed in midline, apical margin bilobate. Subgenital plate wider than long, with converging lateral margins, apex broadly truncate ( Fig. 59F ). Ovipositor straight; tip with narrowed margins but obtuse ( Fig. 59G ). Measurements ( 1 female ).—body w/wings: 36; body w/o wings: 21; pronotum: 5; tegmen: 31; hind femur: 15; tegmen width: 9.5; ovipositor: 22 mm . Discussion. The species is so far only known from South Yunnan . It is sufficiently described in Du et al . (2016). The female is characterized by the seventh abdominal sternite being sclerotised with slightly bilobate apex while the subgenital plate is membranous with subtruncate tip.
