Notes.
Based on original (
Zheng, 1995
),
Zheng (2005)
updated the description of its humeral angles (changed original ‘not too obvious’ into current ‘obtusely angled’). With vertex convex, median carina of vertex protruding forward, vertex together with frontal costa obtusely rounded and protruding forward, face slightly oblique, pronotum little uplifted between shoulders, etc., this species is similar to
Y. elytratus
and
Y. variabilis
sp. nov.
. Apart from arcuate anterior margin of vertex and obtusely angled humeral angles, it can also easily distinguish from the former by a triangular concavity of apex of hind process, and from the later based on external lateral carina of pronotum is not only indistinctly folded upwards above tegmen, but also not extending backwards (
Zheng, 1995
,
2005
).
