Lasianthus lineolatus Craib (1933:22) . Type : THAILAND . Surat Thani , Kao Nawng (probably a misspelling for Khao Nang), 10 April 1927 , A. F. G. Kerr 13284 ( holotype K000777020!; isotype BK257387!). T hailand: ―PENINSULAR. Nakhon Si Thammarat : Khoa Luang National Park, 21 January 1966 , M. Tagara, K. Iwatsuki & N. Fukuoka T4860 (BKF). Distribution: ―Endemic to Thailand (Peninsular). Ecology: ―Grows at high elevation of 1000‒1100 m in Peninsular Thailand . Notes: ―Apart from the type specimen we know this species from only very few collections and field observations. The original description and some morphological character of the type specimen, however, suggests it is different from other Thai Lasianthus species. It is included in World Checklist of Selected Plant Families (http://wcsp.science.kew. org/). It is similar to L. ellipticus but differs by having lanceolate, 3 mm long calyx lobes (not narrowly triangular, 1 mm long), pilose corolla lobes and tube (not corolla lobes hirsute outside, floccose inside and corolla tube glabrous).
