Description: Forewing length 16.1 mm , total body length 19.8 mm . General color yellowish. Head yellowish with central part darker ( Fig. 8 ); postfrontal line U-shaped; antennae ochraceous; palpi yellowish. Pronotum yellowish with rugosities, lateral bands ochraceous ( Fig. 8 ). Legs yellowish to ochraceous, tibia and tarsi darker. Wing membrane and veins pale. Cerci ochraceous. Hammer a truncate cone ( Fig. 9 ). Penial armature in ventral/ dorsal views ( Figs. 10–11 ) narrowing gradually towards a truncate apex; hooks regularly curved with pointed tips; presence of a pair of subapical ventral vesicles; in lateral view ( Fig. 12 ), a slightly elevated dorsal keel and apex bent ventrally. Remarks: The penial armature of A. mineira n. sp. in lateral view resembles A. oculatila Jewett 1959 and A. coscaroni Froehlich 2002 , however, in ventral view, differs by the wider apex ( Fig. 11 ) and the size of the gonopore (larger in A. mineira ). Additionally, A. mineira is lighter and larger than the other two species. Etymology: from Minas Gerais, state where the holotype was collected.
