NOTES
Schistophoron muriforme
has a pale yellowish to white thallus with a diffuse brown prothallus, sessile, elliptical or lirelliform or branched ascomata, globose to ellipsoid, large (15.0-30.0 ×
15.0-18.0 Μm) muriform (3-7 × 2-4 septate) ascospores, and contains psoromic acid (

).
Schistophoron muriforme
is the only known species in the genus that produces psoromic acid and has muriform ascospores. Known distribution: Only known from
Sri Lanka
(

).
