This species has seldom been reported in literature. It has been mainly reported on Tamarix . This is the first report of this species from Morocco and in the Maghreb region. It was also collected in the present survey on Tamarix , suggesting a narrow relationship between this species and this plant genus. Specimens examined: 2002, Oasis of Zagora on Tetraclinis articulata (Cupressaceae) ( 4 females , 2 males ), Damon Oum Er Bia River on Tamarix africana (Tamaricaceae) ( 1 female ); 2003, Gorges of Zegzel on Tamarix communis (Tamaricaceae) ( 1 female ). Previous records: Iran , Israel , Jordan , Tunisia .
