This species is widely distributed in sub-Saharan Africa, where it is associated with
Dorylus nigricans
Illiger
and
D. helvolus
(Linnaeus)
ants (
Disney, 2006
). It has been recently recorded in
Yemen
(
Disney, 2006
) and hereby provides the first generic record for
Israel
.
