Camptotropis Jekel 1855: 136 . Type species. Euparius dispar Gyllenhal, 1833 , by monotypy. Generic diagnosis. Piesocorynus can be distinguished by the oval, entire and coarsely faceted eyes (14–24 longitudinal rows of facets). The only other genus with this character is Brevibarra , which is not recorded from Wisconsin . It can also be recognized by the length of the 3 rd antennal segment (longer than either the 2 nd or 4 th ), lobed elytral bases overhanging the pronotal base, and by the apically rounded intercoxal process of the mesothoracic sternum.
