Diagnosis: A middle-sized species of Reconcavona with a blunt or sometimes more pointed spine in the middle part of the posterior margin of each valve. The spine originates on the outermost valve margin and is usually slightly bent towards the front. Holotype : Carapace, SMF Xe 4805. Paratypes : 1 carapace SMF Xe 4807, 2 carapaces under SMF Xe 4806 . Dimensions: Holotype , length 0.74mm , height 0.41mm , width 0.28mm (without spine).
