Etymology. The specific epithet ‘ dorsocavatus ’ refers to the deeply concave dorsal surface of the aedeagal shaft. Description. Body length (including tegmen):3 4.5 4.6mm . Male genitalia: Pygophore elongate. Connective stem about twice length of arms. Aedeagal shaft relatively narrow throughout length, in lateral view; dorsal surface deeply concave from midlength to apex; apical process similar in length to length of shaft. Diagnosis: This species is closely related to Mimotettix alboguttulatus , but the aedeagal shaft is deeply concave at the dorsal margin. Distribution. China (Yunnan) ( Fig.17 ).
