Etymology.
The specific epithet ‘
dorsocavatus
’ refers to the deeply concave dorsal surface of the aedeagal shaft.
Description.

Male genitalia: Pygophore elongate. Connective stem about twice length of arms. Aedeagal shaft relatively narrow throughout length, in lateral view; dorsal surface deeply concave from midlength to apex; apical process similar in length to length of shaft.
Diagnosis:
This species is closely related to
Mimotettix alboguttulatus
, but the aedeagal shaft is deeply concave at the dorsal margin.
