Conservation status: Least Concern ( LC ) in Veracruz . Known from eight recent collections made at small natural forest fragments in four different localities in central Veracruz (not protected), and one specimen from Santa Marta , which is somewhat protected because it forms part of the nuclear zones of the Los Tuxtlas Biosphere Reserve . However, all these montane rain forest habitats, especially in the central region, are still under high anthropogenic pressure. Specimens examined: 12; TK collections: 8 .
