Remarks.
The holotype male of
Epeira lancearia
displays the typical features of
Acroaspis
as detailed above, including the genus-specific characters of the male pedipalp (Fig. 1B) and the elevated abdomen (Fig. 1A). The species is therefore here transferred to
Acroaspis
