Diagnosis.
COLONY ENCRUSTINg, MULTISERIAL. AUTOZOOIDS WITH EVENLY PSEUDOPOROUS FRONTAL SHIELD. PRIMARY ORIFICE WITH bROAD LYRULA. NO ORAL SPINES. PERISTOME ELEVATED, SUbTUbULAR WITH PROXIMOFRONTAL PSEUDOSPIRAMEN. AVICULARIA PAIRED, LATERO-ORAL, WITH ADDITIONAL AVICULARIA AbLE TO bE bUDDED bETWEEN THESE. ENDOZOOIDAL OVICELL CALCIFIED WITH A FEW SCATTERED PORES, COVERED bY SECONDARY CALCIFICATION.
Remarks.
THE NEW gENUS DIFFERS FROM
Smittina
AND RELATED PSEUDOPOROUS SMITTINIDS IN HAVINg PAIRED LATERO- ORAL AVICULARIA bETWEEN WHICH ADDITIONAL ADVENTITIOUS AVICULARIA MAY bE bUDDED. ADDITIONALLY, ALL ENDOZOOIDAL OVICELLS IN THE PRESENT MATERIAL ARE AT THE gROWINg MARgIN AND APPEAR COVERED bY SECONDARY CALCIFICATION.
