Remarks.
This species has been reported as originally described from
Brazil
(
Pará
) and French Guiana. However, this is a mistake. The species was described from two places in the Brazilian state of
Pará
: Óbidos (“on the
Guiana
side of the Lower Amazons”, which means a city on left bank of the lower Amazonas river (the bank at the same side of the
Guiana
), and Pará (currently, Belém).
