Material examined. Holotype : Argentina , Santiago del Estero , Fernández ( 27°55'27" S , 63°53'28" W ), -/12/2013, on Prosopis alba , Riquelme, Santadino & Ansa cols. 1 (2) IFML . Paratypes: 2 (2) with same collection data (IFML). Diagnosis. Slide-mounted adult female with groups of microtubular ducts types A and B on both surfaces. Marginal setae undifferentiated from dorsal setae. Frontal lobes present; anal lobe with 3 or 4 dorsal setae ( González et al. 2015 ). Observations. The samples came from a commercial “carob” nursery, where H. alba forms groups of 20–30 individuals without causing damage ( Fig. 6–7 ). Distribution. Argentina , Neotropical region, Chaco subregion, Chaco province .
