Diagnosis.
Slide-mounted adult female with groups of microtubular ducts
types
A and B on both surfaces. Marginal setae undifferentiated from dorsal setae. Frontal lobes present; anal lobe with 3 or 4 dorsal setae (

).
Observations.
The samples came from a commercial “carob” nursery, where
H. alba
forms groups of 20–30 individuals without causing damage (
Fig. 6–7
).
