Lissemys punctata
was initially reported from
Singapore

4 May 1990
(Yong 1990). However, the remains were later reidentified as
A. cartilaginea
by I. Das (Ng & Lim 2010). Nonetheless, one individual of
L. punctata
was caught by fishermen on
9 August
2001
in an abandoned pond next to KR (Ng & Lim 2010).
Lissemys punctata
is native to
India
(TTWG 2021).
