Comments: in the original description ( Chamberlin 1952 ) this species appears both as Aymaresmus tambonus (page 579, in the figure caption) and Aymaresmus tampocus (page 580, heading of the description). The second one must be a misprint. The correct name is Aymaresmus tambonus , as is also written in the original holotype label.
