Remarks.
The species presents a typical West African distribution (
Schein 1954b
,
Schoolmeesters 2019
). All the GBI adult specimens were sampled on white flowers (plant not identified) in primary moist forest (
e.g.
Fig. 2f
). Biological and other ecological data are not available for the species, but see general comments in
Schein (1954b)
and the remarks under the genus
Coenochilus
(
Serrano
et al.
2020
)
. It is a new genus/species record for Guinea-
Bissau
.
