Material examined: Jemberem ( Cambeque forest = Mato Cambeque ) ( 11º 13´26.45´´ N , 15º 01´02.01´´ W , 15m alt.) (TOB), 10.VII.2009 , 4 ♂ , DO, A. Serrano leg., ASC . Remarks. The species presents a typical West African distribution ( Schein 1954b , Schoolmeesters 2019 ). All the GBI adult specimens were sampled on white flowers (plant not identified) in primary moist forest ( e.g. Fig. 2f ). Biological and other ecological data are not available for the species, but see general comments in Schein (1954b) and the remarks under the genus Coenochilus ( Serrano et al. 2020 ) . It is a new genus/species record for Guinea- Bissau .
