Parapiophila dudai
(Frey)
NBP/NIS material examined.
1 ♀, 1? from the following sites: Northwest Territories: Norman Wells; Nunavut:
Kugluktuk
(
vi.1962
;
vi–vii.2011
) (
CNC
,
LEM
).
Comments.
Parapiophila dudai
is present in northern
Russia
and
Finland
(
Frey 1930
;
McAlpine 1977
;
Ozerov 2004b
).
McAlpine (1977)
listed the species as Holarctic, but that was probably based on unpublished Nearctic records of NIS specimens in CNC.
Ozerov (2004a)
also listed
P. dudai
as Holarctic, but this may have been based on McAlpine’s (1977) statement.
