Xyalidae
. Cuticle striated. Anterior sensilla arranged in two crowns, either (six + ten) or (six + twelve) forms. Inner labial sensilla setiform. Outer labial sensilla longer than the cephalic sensilla and, when present, adjacent to lateral sensilla. Buccal cavity conical, partially surrounded by pharyngeal musculature and equipped with one or three teeth (one dorsal, two subventral). Two opposed ovaries both to the left of intestine. Two testes; anterior to the left of intestine, posterior to the right. Opening of the caudal glands probably separated. Tail conical or conical cylindrical without terminal setae.
