HOLOTYPE : AMNH 307094 , adult male, collected along the Shingaw­Tanga Road at 1000 ft , Myitkyina District , Sagaing Division , Myanmar , on 20 November 1938 , by the Vernay–Cutting Expedition (no. 52). COMMENTS : The AMNH number of the type was given in the original description. In addition to the holotype , three of the four paratypes listed by Deignan are in AMNH : AMNH 307095 , female, Tamu ; AMNH 565607 , female, Kabaing ; and AMNH 565610 , female, Gokteik Gorge. I did not find the specimen from Thailand . The type locality is shown on the map in Stanford and Ticehurst (1938 : opp. p. 68) and in Anthony (1941) .
