Diagnosis.
First segment of hind tarsi with a row of 2–6 dorsal spines including an apical one; 7th male tergite always with mid projection(s), 6th tergite also sometimes with triangular projection; paraprocts rather large, platelike or finger-like; male genitalia membranous, usually without dorsal sclerite (epiphallus), if dorsal sclerite present (only in the genus
Megadiestramima
), than it is V-shaped and smooth (in
Aemodogryllini
first segment of hind tarsi with an apical dorsal spine only; 6th and 7th male tergites without mid projection, broadly rounded in both sexes; paraprocts rather small, unmodified; male genitalia membranous, but always with unpaired dorsal plate-like sclerite situated near the base of the mid dorsal lobe and provided by numerous denticles).
