The
euplexina
species-group
The
euplexina
group represented by single species
A. euplexina
which externally resembles
A. yoshimotoi
having similar type of wing pattern; but differs by moss-green with dark ground wing colouration; in the male genitalia it has large strong juxta, well separated relatively small cucullus with distinct neck, heavily developed short strong flattened harpe and small, vestigial lateral extension of sacculus; in aedeagus vesica short, armed with cutter-like cornutus on apical diverticula and group of four strong flat subbasal cornuti. Female genitalia are more similar to those of
A. miraculosus
, but differ by more conical ovipositor, wider membranous antrum and short sclerotised and ribbed ductus bursae. Similarly to
A. miraculosus
, this species group could be considered as specialized basal branch in the genus
Atrovirensis.
