Fig. 143. Disparomitus horwathi Navás, 1913 : 95 ; Esben-Petersen, 1936 : 199 (incorrect subsequent spelling). Disparomitus horpathi Navás, 1914a : 366 (incorrect subsequent spelling). The type specimen illustrated by van der Weele (1909) , deposited in the Budapest Museum, was destroyed (Sziraki, pers. com.). The original description by van der Weele (1909) indicates that it is indeed a species belonging to the genus Disparomitus , but it is too inadequate to allow an accutate interpretation of its validity. According to Tjeder & Hansson (1992) , the four specimens identified as Disparomitus horvathi by Handschin & Markl (1955) belong to Brevibarbis angolana Tjeder & Hansson, 1992 (three specimens) and to Disparomitus transvaliensis (one specimen). No other specimens that can be determined as D. horvathi have been found. Material examined. None Distribution. Known only from the type locality, Luitpoldkette (series of hills East to Ikutha [-2.065162/ 38.176778]) in Kenya .
