LAGON: stn 726, Secteur de Canala , 21°20’S , 165°55’E , 50-51 m , 1 dd (Figs 2, 146, 147). DISTRIBUTION. — Tropical and subtropical West Pacific. From southern Japan (Kii Peninsula and southwards, intertidal to 20 m depth on corals; Higo et al . 2001 ) to Philippines (Reeve 1846). The present material constitutes the southernmost record, New Caledonia , 1 empty shell in 50-51 m . REMARKS. — Protoconch partly eroded, of 2.5+ whorls, 580+ Μm high, 760 Μm wide at the base, with sculpture mostly abraded Axial threads visible on the last protoconch whorl.
