REMARKS. — Protoconch of 2.8 conical whorls, 625 Μm high, 800 Μm wide at the base. Protoconch-I of about 0.8 whorls, sculptured with pustules over the entire surface. Protoconch-II of about 2 whorls, with 2 spiral keels, and sculptured with a series of subsutural threads and a series of similar threads over each keel; a diffuse granulation is present in the interspaces. Molecular data (
Oliverio & Mariottini 2001a
) indicate affinity with the group of spinyshelled coralliophilines (
Babelomurex
/
Latiaxis
).
