Diagnosis.
Head strongly vertical, vertex convex, and antennal fossa located above the maxillary-mandibular suture. Pronotum shining, convex, and distinctly punctate; pronotum with lateral margin marginate or angulate; anterior margin of pronotum hoodlike extended over the base of head; hemelytron and scutellum more or less smooth; and the ostiolar peritreme with a well-developed median lobe.
