This host is distributed in Southeast Asia, particularly southern Myanmar , Thailand , Peninsular Malaysia , the Sumatran region of Indonesia and Borneo ( Duckworth et al . 2016a ). Given that P. linsang is native in Malaysia ( Abdullah & Mammalian Research Group 2013 ), it is possible that F. aspidorhynchus occurs in this country.
