Perithous septemcinctorius (Thunberg, 1822) The species is widely distributed in the Western Palaearctic region ( Yu et al. 2016 ) and recorded from the Palaearctic part of China ( Uchida 1952 ; Sheng et al. 2002: 3 ); introduced from Europe to Michigan , USA ( Torgersen 1972 ). Samples of P. septemtrionalis from Europe ( Belgorod Prov. , Russia ) have been examined. Females have first tergite granulate and with a pair of strong basolateral teeth, and the third tergite with anteromedian longitudinal keel. Distribution. Palaearctic species; introduced to North America ; unknown from Mexico .
