Dates of collection. March to August. Diagnosis. Body length: about 9.1 mm , wing length: about 8.6 mm ; frons and face with black hairs and yellowish-white scales; frons black in the ground colour; ocellar triangle brownish; scape and pedicel yellowish brown with numerous long black bristly hairs, flagellum dark brown; Scutum and basal half of scutellum black in the ground colour, apical half of scutellum brown; collar brownish-yellow, rest vestiture of thorax yellowish-white; wings hyaline with yellowish basicostal infuscation; legs yellowish-brown, become darker at tarsi, covered with whitish scales especially on middle and hind legs; abdomen black in the ground colour with numerous white hairs mixed with some black ones especially on sides of tergites 2–6; tergites 2–5 with transverse bands of white scales alternated with narrow dark brown ones; tergites 6, 7 densely covered with yellowish-brown and whitish yellow scales.
