This species has been reported from Spain and Portugal ( González & Menéndez 2011 ), from the Pyrenees, northwestern Africa, the Iberian Peninsula, including the eastern Galician Mountains (Martin et al. 2014); from the high Atlas of Morocco ( Bouzidi 1989 ); the middle Atlas ( Dakki 1987 ; Tayoub 1989); the Rif (El Alami & Dakki 1998; Hajji et al. 2013 ); Oriental Morocco (Berrahou 2001; Alaoui 2006 ; Bonada et al . 2008), northeastern Morocco ( Lamri et al. 2016 ; Mabrouki et al. 2020 ).
