The genus comprises 17 species, mostly distributed in Asia ( Yang & Li 2016 ). In Korea , three species of the genus Encolapta have been known: E. catarina ( Ponomarenko, 1994 ) , E. tegulifera ( Meyrick, 1932 ) . and T. subtegulifera ( Ponomarenko, 1994 ) .
