( Figs 73–78 ) Diagnosis. Belonging to the assemblage of species with the posterior margin of the forewings scalloped, but unlike these it presents the hypandrium with two short and very close posterior processes; phallosome with side struts well separated basally, external parameres and side struts well widened and endophallus with extensive mesal sclerotization ( Fig. 78 ). Male. Color. Head ( Fig. 75 ) dark brown. Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents. Antenna pale brown; maxillary palps brown. Forewing ( Fig. 73 ) with dark brown spots, with well-marked basal fascia, pterostigma dark brown, filled with small brown spots that extends outside the margin, while retaining its shape, alar margin and some veins dotted, veins brown. Hindwing ( Fig. 74 ) smoked, with veins brown and dotted alar margin. Legs: coxae and trochanter dark brown, femur dark brown proximally, light brown distally, with subapical brown spot, tibia and tarsi pale brown, t2–t3 darker. Hypandrium, Paraprocts, epiproct and phallosome brown to dark brown. Morphology. As in diagnosis, plus the following: Head ( Fig. 75 ): H/MxW: 1.22; compound eyes large, H/D: 1.63; IO/MxW: 0.59. Vertex emarginated, medially V-shaped, below upper level of compound eyes. Outer cusp of lacinial tips broad, with four denticles; Mx4/Mx2: 1.13. Forewings ( Fig. 73 ): L/W: 2.57. Pterostigma: lp/wp: 2.69, areola postica wider than tall, apically angled: al/ah: 1.48. Cell M2 with scalloped posterior margin. Hindwings ( Fig. 74 ): l/w: 2.77. Hypandrium somewhat triangular, with two short apical processes, these with teeth on their inner margin ( Fig. 77 ), anterior border concave; with setae and macrosetae. Phallosome with broad and basally separated side struts, external parameres widened distally, endophallus membranous, medial sclerite well developed ( Fig. 78 ): Paraprocts rhomboidal ( Fig. 76 ), with distal acuminate process inward, a dense field of setae and macrosetae on distal area; sensory fields with 25 trichobothria on basal rosettes. Epiproct ( Fig. 76 ) semioval, with transverse area differentiated by spicules, basal-distal field of scattered setae and macrosetae, as illustrated. Measurements.
