È东华ūdz Sinochlora kwangtungensis Tinkham, 1945: 238 ; Kang 1992: 86 syn. Type locality. Kwangtung , Maan Chi Shan (now Guangdong , Qingyuan , Mao-zi-shan Mt.) ( Type ); Kiangsi , Kuling (now Jiangxi , Guling ) ( Allotype ); Szechwan, Suifu (now Sichuan , Yibin) ( Paratypes ) . Notes. This species has long been treated as a synonym of Sinochlora longifissa . However, specimens from southern China have shorter and straighter subgenital plates, while Japanese specimens have longer ones. The tenth abdominal tergum of the southern Chinese specimens is very short, with a width greater than its length, while the Japanese specimens have nearly equal length and width. Considering the significant geographical differences, we believe that this species should be treated as a valid species. Comparison of the calling songs and stridulatory files would be of considerable help in this respect. Distribution. Southern China .
