( holotype , K barcode K000232733 [available at http://specimens.kew.org/herbarium/ K000232733]!). Taxonomic notes :—At present the name K. ellacombei is treated as a synonym of K. lanceolata ( Forsskål 1775 : CXI & 89) Persoon (1805: 446) . Nomenclatural notes :—When describing K. ellacombei , Brown (1912: 329) stated: “TROPICAL AFRICA. Rhodesia : Livingston[e] [Maramba] and by the River Zambesi 5 miles [~ 8 km ] above Victoria Falls, Ellacombe .” “ Ellacombe ” is a reference to an Herb. K-held specimen, with barcode K000232733. It is the only specimen cited by Brown (1912: 329) and in the absence of evidence that duplicates of it exist, nor that he had additional material available when he published the name K. ellacombei . It is therefore the holotype of the name K. ellacombei (see also Fernandes 1983: 43 ).
