Several setae with indistinct bases in first sections of flagellum; anterior setae of scutellum relatively long and dark; dorsal lamina long and linguiform, extending to volsellae; intervolsellar process relatively short. Comments . Trichogramma zucchii can be readily distinguished from other Neotropical species by the dorsal lamina with a tongue-shaped posterior extension, extending beyond the volsellae; and by several unsocketed setae on the first sections of the flagellum. Type repository : ESALQ (holotype) and University of California, Riverside. Type locality : Piracicaba, SP. Distribution in South America . Brazil. Host . Melanolophia sp. ( Lepidoptera : Geometridae ), in a forest reserve ( Querino et al . 2017 ).
