Description of imago

. Thorax ochreous.
Forewing base brown mixed ochreous; costa yellow from subbasal fascia to beyond first strigula; antemedian fascia broad, yellow in costal half, whitish beneath; median zone irregularly scattered with dark brown scales; terminal area yellow; fist strigula white, very broad towards costa; second strigula white pointing into leaden grey lower half; terminal cilia with fuscous scales, white above tornus; tornal spot long, crescent shaped.
Hindwing base fuscous; a broad white subbasal fascia; silver grey tornal spot; a yellow streak from dorsum reaching halfway across wing; a further silver grey spot before first eye-spot; antemedian fascia diffuse, fuscous; median zone thinly and irregularly scaled dark brown; submarginal line clear but broken; five eye-spots each with a silver grey metallic spot on the inside.
Tympanal organs
