Mean body size 512 μm (SD 75), range 440 to 616 μm. The species has been cited for Europe, Asia and Africa. It is the first time it is recorded for the Iberian Peninsula ( Table 2 ). Eremobiotus alicatai only appeared at one sampling point (Table 3), in a LF sample.
