The species is characterized by the thick, dark fuscous antenna. The male is known for the first time. Adult ( Fig. 9 , holotype ). Wingspan, 10.0–11.0 mm. Male genitalia ( Figs. 40, 40 a). Valva with large, round median protrusion on ventral margin; distal part of valva thumb-like with round apex. Median lobe of juxta slightly bent, as long as 1/3 length of valva, heavily sclerotized. Aedeagus with a long bar-shaped cornutus, as long as 2/3 of aedeagus. Female genitalia (GU-14054, holotype , deposited in BMNH).
