Macromotettix longipennis Zheng, 2002 [description]. Holotype , Paratypes 4♂ , P. R . China : Guangxi : Napo , 18-20 June 2002 , collected by Jun CHEN , Wenzhu LI and Jian YAO , IZCAS . Note. Zhemin Zheng named this species as Macromotettix longipennis in 2002. But he did not notice that he (1998) already described another species named Macromotettix longipennis from Yunnan in China . Macromotettix longipennis from Zheng in 2002 must be renamed as a secondary homonym after art. 57.3. of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature. Therefore, Macromotettix napoensis Deng n. n. for Macromotettix longipennis Zheng, 2002 (nec. Zheng, 1998 ) preoccupied. Differential diagnosis: Anterior margin of pronotum from M. napoensis is slightly arched. This species is related to M. serrifemoralis Zheng & Jiang, 2002 but the ventral margins of middle femora undulate; width of midfemur wider than width of visible part of tegmina. Etymology. This species was named after the type locality, Napo, Guangxi , China ; adjective. Distribution. P. R. China : Guangxi .
