This species is very different in the body and genitalia morphology from the other congeners like P. m u s c u l u s , P. opulentus Cooman, 1932 and P. sulcatipygus Cooman, 1932 . The differences are summarized in Table 2 . Based on these differences, it might be better to place P. deficiens in a genus, separate from Pachylomalus .
