Diagnosis.
Wing length
1.6 mm
. Fronto-orbital brownish-yellow; antenna predominantly brown, except in the yellowish scape; mesonotum greyish; scutellum greyish, slightly yellowish centrally; legs yellowish. Aedeagus (Fig. 101a in
Spencer 1963
): basiphallus slightly sclerotized with extensions distally; mesophallus elongated, enlarged basally; distiphallus translucent, forming two tubules slightly sclerotized basally and enlarged distally.

Comments.
According to
Spencer (1963)
, this species is similar to
Phytoliriomyza arctica
(Lundbeck)
, and it is differentiated primarily by the shape of the aedeagus, which is membranous and coiled in
P. arctica
. So far, there have been no data on host-plants of this species.
