Monadjem and colleagues in 2013. Monotypic. Distribution. Guinea (Simandou Range) and Liberia (Mt Nimba ). Descriptive notes. Head-body 44-50 mm, tail 27-36 mm, ear 10-13 mm, forearm 28— 31-7 mm; weight 4-5-5 g. Tips of dorsal fur of the Isabelline Serotine are light rusty orange brown (“isabelline”); mid-dorsal hairs are c.4-5 mm long. Ears,lips, wings, uropatagium, and hindfeet are almost white, and covered by very short hairs. Only ear tips and dorsal surfaces of forearm, hindfeet, and tail have a pale brownish hue. Ear tip is rounded; tragus has small notch at base of anterior surface and is ¢.40% of ear length. Penis is long and covered by short whitish hairs. Skull is medium-sized (greatest skull lengths 12-513 mm) compared to congeners; dorsal profile of skull is slightly concaveat rostrum, and slopes gradually upward to occiput; sagittal crest is absent; lambdoid crest is faint. I* is unicuspid, and over twice the size of I’; upper tooth row is almost parallel. Habitat. Two individuals were netted across a creek in rainforest at ¢. 765 m . Food and Feeding. No information.
